Frequently Asked Questions
Do they really hold ALL hair types?
Yes! We have designed our hair ties so that they create a strong hold no matter what kind of hair you have.
How long are the dangling tails?
Our Signature hair ties have dangling tails that are between 3-5 inches long, depending on the thickness of your hair.
Our PonyLock™ hair ties feature dangling tails that are typically 1-2 inches in length, depending on the thickness of your hair.
Do you sell any hair ties without the dangling tails?
Absolutely! Our SlideTight™ hair ties feature the same easy design and don’t dangle at all.
Where are these made?
Elsy Tails are HANDMADE in the USA!
Where are these shipped from?
We fulfill and ship ALL orders from Scottsdale, Arizona.
Haven't I seen these before?
These were invented in 2018 and are brand new to the market. They are patent pending and are expected to be fully patented by 2021. Nothing else like these exist.
How long do they last?
We have specifically designed these with quality and longevity in mind. They have been thoroughly stressed tested and are guaranteed not to snap or break. Under normal use, the elastic will show signs of wear and tear within a few months and will last 6 months to a year (sometimes longer).
Are these only for children?
Definitely not! Elsy Tails are designed to be worn by adults and children of ALL ages. In fact, the majority of our customers are adult women buying them for themselves.
Where else are these sold?
As of right now, we are only selling Elsy Tails online and at special events that we attend. We are hoping to sell them in retail stores soon.
Why are they called "Elsy Tails"?
Jeff, the creator of Elsy Tails, combined the names of his daughter Eloise and his wife's name Jessica (who he calls "Jessy") to create the name "Elsy" Tails.
Can I sell Elsy Tails?
Yes! We are currently piloting an Elsy Tails reseller program where you can sell our hair ties as an authorized reseller. If you're interested in learning more, please email us directly.
